Power Girl's (various) costumes...

Okay, just because its been sooooo long (in both time and pages) since the last time...

...here's a brief rundown of PG's costumes through the years.

Thanks to Cat-Scratch (id. at Newsrama) for making this nifty line-up.

Okay, even though there are so many looks, (with/with out window, belt etc, color etc), these are PG's main costumes...

1. Classic/Current: The original one is also the longest lasting one, and the current one. From the 'window', to the blue shoes/gloves to the diagonally tied cape, this is THE definitive PowerGirl costume. A minor variation of this has the cape tethered on either shoulder/side.

2. Classic (with no hole, all closed): A variation on the classic look, this one saw use in the early days too. Not much since then.

3. Classic (with round neckline but no neck covering): Another variations on the original costume this one has made quite a few appearances, including the PG minis. It was recently used in SMBM #27 and the JSAC arc/mini. This suggests that this costume/variation is the original PG look in current DC continuity. This one too has the cape tethered on both sides.

4. Yellow/Gold-White: Even though this (like quite a few things from the 90s...the late 90s-early 00s in this case) isn't liked much by comic readers, it does have its fans. As shown in 'Circle of Fire' (Green Lantern event/mini/crossover), this costume is kinda like PG's *space costume*.

5. PowerAerobicsGirl: What else do I call this one? It started in (and from what I know, ENDED) in the JLI/JLE times. This one's from the early 90s.

I am not including any 'disguise' costumes like the one from the SG Candor arc. Also, no 'one-shot/Elseworld/AU-sequence' looks.
